Ida Marie Nissen
Ida Nissen holds a degree from the Royal Danish Academy of Architecture, Design, and Conservation in Copenhagen. For over 20 years, she has worked with visual communication across design, architecture, urban planning, art, and culture. For the past five years, she has run her own practice as an independent art director and graphic designer under the name by Ida Nissen.
Her approach to visual communication and design is rooted in her design education at the Royal Danish Academy and shaped by her broad professional background — as a trained journalist from DMJX, entrepreneur and co-founder of the Danish design studio Goodmorning Technology, senior project manager at e-Types, and most recently as a freelance graphic designer and art director.
Most recently, Ida developed the visual concept and design for a major publication on urban renewal for Realdania. She also just completed the exhibition catalogue for Mie Olise Kjærgaard’s solo show at Trapholt Museum of Design, Art and Craft.
