Bjørn Inge Follevaag

Bjørn Inge Follevaag is a freelance curator and art producer who holds an MA degree in creative curating from Bergen Academy of Art and Design (2008–2010). Through his efforts in building bridges to art scenes in Asia, the Middle-East, South-America and Africa, Follevaag has played a key role in presenting international art to Bergen. He is known as one of Norway's leading experts on Chinese contemporary art, and has since 1988 collaborated with Chinese artists.

In 2015, Fuglevaag co-curated the exhibition A New Dynasty - Created in China that was exhibited at Aros Aarhus Art Museum in Denmark. This project is considered the most successful exhibition in Aros' history.

Together with the curators Heidi Bjørgan, Feng Boyi and Wang Dong, Fuglevaag co-curated the exhibition Beyond G(l)aze in 2015, a collaboration between Norwegian Crafts, Suzhou Jinji Lake Art Museum in China, and KODE Art Museums and Composer Homes in Bergen, Norway.
