Sorrel Van Allen is a Canadian jewellery artist with a background in red seal welding and artistic blacksmithing. She studied jewellery design and metalsmithing at the Nova Scotia College of Art and Design, Halifax, Canada, and the National College of Art and Design, Dublin, Ireland, earning a BFA in 2020. After graduation, she participated in the year-long residential silversmithing program at Bishopsland Educational Trust, Oxfordshire, U.K. Currently, Sorrel is studying in the MFA Crafts program at HDKValand Academy of Art and Design, Gothenburg, Sweden.
