Sean Mallon (Sāmoan/Irish) is an anthropologist and is currently Senior Curator Pacific Cultures at the Museum of New Zealand Te Papa Tongarewa. He curated Tatau: Sāmoan tattooing and photography (2019) and co-authored Tatau: a history of Sāmoan tattooing with Sébastien Galliot (2018).
