Samira Khoshbakht is a Gothenburg-based artist born in Teheran in 1981. They graduated from the Art and Architecture University of Tehran specialising in painting and later studied at the art and craft pedagogy program at Konstfack, Stockholm. Khoshbakht is a current student of the MFA program in Crafts, Textile Art at HDK-Valand in Gothenburg. Samira Khoshbakht’s artistic practice involves textile art, installations, performance and video art.
