Tāmihana Kātene (Ngāti Toa Rangatira, Ngāti Tama, Ngāti Koata, Te Taoū - Ngāti Whātua) is a carver of wood, stone and bone from Aotearoa New Zealand. For the past twenty years he has been involved in the reinvigoration of taonga puoro (musical instruments) in Aotearoa.
