Lillian Tørlen is a Norwegian artist who lives and works in Oslo, Norway. Her site-specific works showcase a profound sensitivity towards architecture and peoples’ surroundings. Making sculptures and installations in various materials, Tørlen invites us to re-evaluate spaces, pause and consider events, and to contemplate the relationship between a space and a piece.

Tørlen holds a BA in Art & Design from Central St. Martin's College of Art and Design in London, and a MA in Fine Arts from Oslo National Academy of the Arts in Oslo. Her work has been widely exhibited in group exhibitions in Norway and abroad. She has also had solo exhibitions in Norway at Møre og Romsdal Kunstsenter in Molde (2015), Galleri Format in Oslo (2016 and 2019), and at the Norwegian Drawing Association in Oslo (2020).
