Wang Dong works as curator at He Xiangning Art Museum in Shenzhen. He is dedicated to the curation, criticism and research of Chinese and international contemporary art.

Together with the curators Heidi Bjørgan, Feng Boyi and Bjørn Inge Fuglevaag, Wang co-curated the exhibition Beyond G(l)aze in 2015, a collaboration between Norwegian Crafts, Suzhou Jinji Lake Art Museum in China, and KODE Art Museums and Composer Homes in Bergen, Norway.
