Máret Ánne Sara (b. 1983) is a multidisciplinary artist and author who was born into a reindeer herding family in Guovdageaidnu (Kautokeino), where she also lives and works. In her artistic practice, Máret Ánne often deals with political and social issues from a Sámi and reindeer-social perspective. Thus, themes such as colonialism, migration, nomadism, land, and Sámi rights emerge through her work.
