Tora Endestad Bjørkheim

Tora Endestad Bjørkheim is an artist educated at the Bergen Academy of Art and Design (now part of the University of Bergen). She is a university lecturer at the Oslo National Academy of the Arts.

Together with Johnny Herbert, she started the newspaper publication Grafters' Quarterly in 2014, which in the first four editions has focused on improvisation, abstraction, fetishism, work and rhythm. Bjørkheim has been a member of the editorial board of Norwegian Crafts and Tidsskriftet Kunsthåndverk, and was guest editor for the latter in 2016. In 2017, she was elected as a board member of the Norwegian Association for Arts and Crafts.

Exhibitions and projects include, among others, Flat Factory Study Sample, Visningsrommet USF, Bergen; Omformulerte forekomster, Kunstnerforbundet, Oslo; The Partisan Café, Bergen Assembly 2016; Tora Endestad Bjørkheim & Bjørn-Henrik Lybeck, Entrée, Bergen; Moscow Biennale for Young Art III, Moscow Museum of Modern Art, Moscow.
