Susanne Hætta is a Sámi photographer, artist and writer based in Čáhcesuolu/Vadsø, in Northern Norway. Her work emphasises Arctic life and Sámi arts and culture. Hætta is self-taught and work on her own projects as well as commissioned work. Her works have been exhibited in several institutions in Norway and Sweden. She's authored several books including "Okta beaivi Ánniin"(Iđut, 2000) "Mari Moments - Mari Liibbat: Mari Boine's life in photographs" (Susannefoto, 2017) and "Mázejoavku. Indigenous Collectivity and Art" (2020 DAT/OCA).
