Maria Ragnestam is a curator, art historian and writer based in Kiruna. She has worked for Konstfrämjandet Norr and the Luleåbiennal (2020). 2011–2019 she led the work with establishing Konstmuseet i Norr, which is Norrbotten county's regional art museum. She has earlier collaborated with the Museum of Women's History and ArkDes (Yeh Swedish Centre of Architecture and Design). She studied curating at Stockholm University and art history at Uppsala University.
