Lars Elton (b. 1957) is an art critic with a Cand. mag. from the University of Oslo. Elton has worked as a freelance journalist within art, architecture, theater and dance for more than 30 years, in Norwegian newspapers like Aftenposten, Bergens Tidende, Klassekampen, Morgenbladet, NRK, Dagsavisen and VG. Since 2019 he has been working with the online plattform Kunstavisen. Elton has contributed to and edited several publications, among others the artist monography on Jørgen Holen (SKALD 2006).
