Gry Kristina Fors Spein is a Sámi curator at Árran Lule Sámi Center in Tysfjord, Sápmi. She has previously worked as curator, conservator and head of department at the Sami Art Collection/RiddoDuottarMuseat in Kárášjohka for seven years. Fors Spein has curated numerous exhibitions including Duodji in my Heart and Greening in Sápmi. She has written several articles on duodji and art, as well as a book about Sámi traditional costumes (1991, Davvi Girji). She has studied duodji and holds an MA in curatorial practice from the University of Bergen.
