Daniel Georg Schiechl is an Austrian designer and artist based in Helsinki, Finland. He is currently completing the MA program in contemporary design at Aalto University alongside working in the student museum. Schiechl’s artistic practice incorporates his Alpine heritage, drawing on personal stories, community and memories, blending them with local materials into humble, everyday items.
