Anna-Maria Saar (EE/SE) has a background in jewellery art, holding a Master's degree (2020–2022) from the Crafts Department of Jewellery Art at HDK-Valand Academy, University of Gothenburg, Sweden, and a Bachelor's degree (2007–2011) in Jewellery and Blacksmithing from the Estonian Academy of Arts, Estonia.

In recent years, alongside other material-based approaches, she has integrated textile repair techniques into her creative practice, in order to unravel the concept of women‘s work, the financial value of labor, care and love as actions, and the status of domestic crafts within the field of art.
