Jokum Lind Jensen was born in 1971 in Jutland, Denmark. He completed a Higher National Diploma in artist blacksmithing at Hereford College of Art in England between 1995 and 1997. From 2000 to 2010, Jensen worked as a self-employed restoration blacksmith in the Copenhagen area of Denmark.
Currently, Jensen is involved in a variety of fields within the craft. His primary focus is on architecture-related commission work and developing new aesthetics for modernist architectural metalwork in Scandinavia. He also dedicates his time to researching historic decorative metalwork and techniques.
In addition to his architectural work, Jensen engages in sculptural projects for both the gallery scene and the public art scene. He also teaches, sharing his knowledge and experience with others.
