Íris Elva Ólafsdóttir is an Icelandic jewellery artist based in Reykjavik. She was born in 1990 in Iceland and studied ceramics at the Reykjavik School of Visual Arts. Later, she moved to Norway to study metal and jewellery at the Oslo National Academy of the Arts. In her work with jewellery, she investigates the action of drawing within the creative process of thinking and making. The results are delicate wearable wire objects that are fragile like nature itself.
