Felieke van der Leest was born in Emmen, the Netherlands in 1968, but has lived and worked in Norway since 2008. She is a jewellery artist specialising in textile techniques such as crocheting, beading and knitting, often incorporating toy animals and figurines into her work. She was educated at the Gerrit Rietveld Academie in Amsterdam, specialising in jewellery design. Her recent solo exhibitions include Jewelrassic Park at Mobilia Gallery (US), Froots Gallery & Nogart (CH) and Galerie Rob Koudijs.
